Jammy Jam 2004 celebrated not only my 30th birthday, but also the 10th anniversary of the phenomenon that is Jammy Jam (and really, the birth of the Maverick Jams in general. Once again, I was not disappointed. We had more than 60 people show up, many from out of town, and I want to thank everyone for coming and making the party a success. An additional special thanx to Anu for providing a lot of the pictures here (all the tastefully blurry ones are his). As always, I had a blast, and I hope to see all of you and more next year.

The Contest

Jammy Jam isn't just about getting drunk while cute women run around my house in their underwear. Ok, actually yes it is. But to encourage such behavior there is the traditional Jammy Jam contest. Prizes were given for the best 3 outfits, male and female. As always, its not just the outfit, presentation counts. Showmanship, Style, Sex Appeal, Moves and Poise. NEVER, EVER underestimate poise. Every year the turn out of people in sleepwear gets better and better, and the voting was pretty tight this year. I was actually hoping to threepeat as Jammy Jam winner, but was defeated, and I couldn't be happier, because hey, at least people are going all out.

Oh yeah, the prizes. Winners were of course chosen by votes from everyone at the party. 3rd prize men's winner received this month's Playboy Book of Lingerie while the women's winner received this month's Playgirl (sadly, as far as I can tell, there is no Playgirl equivalent to the Book of Lingerie). 2nd prize winners, both male and female each received a giant polar teddy bear. 1st prize winners received massive prize packs that included a custom Pimp glass, a book of fairy tales, a book of 269 sex secrets(male or female editions as appropriate) and gift certificates to Build-A-Bear Workshop as well as the traditional Jammy Jam prizes of gift certificates to International Male or Victoria's Secret.
